We serve modern British food in comfortable and elegant surroundings. Asquiths is situtated opposite the medieval St. Bartholomew’s church in the heart of the historic Town of Lostwithiel

Chef proprietor Graham Cuthbertson uses the best that local producers have to offer, with flair and imagination, to create dishes with inspired flavour and texture combinations.

The decor has been updated with wood panelling and new lighting to give a classic and cosy feel.  The artworks are by local artist Steve Slimm (Penzance). The white linen tablecloths give an air of fine dining but we don’t want any diners to be put off by this as we welcome all and first and foremost want our guests to feel comfortable and relaxed.

As well as food and drink sourced locally we have a bespoke mirror designed by fused glass designer Jo Downs (Launceston) and crockery from John Webb (Lostwithiel).

Dinner service is for reservations between 6.30 and 8.30 pm Wednesday to Saturday.
